Baltimore, MD (August 25, 2019) – Med-IQ, Inc., a leading provider of accredited clinical and risk management continuing education, consulting services, and quality improvement solutions, announced that Mark Hakim has joined the team as director of Risk Management and Patient Safety Educational Strategy.
Mark is a certified professional in healthcare risk management (CPHRM) and has had an extensive career in the risk space as director of Risk Resource Strategic Partnerships, risk management director, and senior risk management consultant with ProAssurance. Mark serves on the Chapter Leader Task Force Committee of the American Society for Health Care Risk Management and is on the board of directors for the Michigan Society for Health Care Risk Management. He is also experienced in the cardiac rehabilitation and occupational/employee health services industries and previously worked with Garden City Hospital and Beaumont Hospital.
Mark received a master of arts in exercise physiology and a bachelor of science in medical technology from Michigan State University, as well as a master of business administration from the University of Detroit Mercy. He also completed a Patient Safety Fellowship from the Health Research & Educational Trust.
